Security & Provisioning

In this release, we are removing our current security setup for the service accounts and replacing this with modern least-prilleged prinicples. This does have a risk where custom provisioning rules and custom services could run into issues. We would recommend updating test environments before proceeding, or discuss with our friendly support team on how to appropriately test. This is a very large architectual change for our product, so we expect minor issues to be raised. We have the ability to roll back the changes if you contact our support team if it is not working as intended.

fix New user provisioning proceeds without “LastPwdSet” or “Password never expires” conflicts.
fix Setting “Password never expires” no longer results in access denied errors.
fix OU path changes no longer cause provisioning failures for resellers.
improvement The default environment name on clean install is set correctly.

User Management & Directory

improvement The user management page starts with “All Users” instead of an immediate service filter.
improvement Tag searches on user details match exactly what you type.
fix User directory imports pull the correct mailAttribute and all managed AD attributes.
fix The AD user sync job runs with the correct configuration.
fix AD sync handles Cyrillic characters and detects password changes correctly.

Jobs & Reporting

Ever seen an error message say 'See More' on the error message and not actually let you read more? No more!
From 15.29 you will now be able to see better errors within the platform, which will help you and our support team with any issues faced. We have also fixed minor issues with the billing reporting pages.

improvement Job run statuses update in the UI without needing a page refresh.
fix Service billing reports display correctly for customer admins in all supported environments.
fix Bill processing no longer fails due to invalid billing rule WHERE clauses.
fix Service billing rule descriptions remain stable after opening a rule.
fix Service billing rule table views no longer shift after opening a rule.

API & Integrations

We've made some minor changes to fine tune the APIs within Workspace and the general API. This should help customers be able to interact with the API clearer.

fix The roles API returns clear errors when a workspace isn’t provisioned.
fix The “get roles” endpoint returns appropriate error details when needed.
fix Assigning public items to customers works reliably when the customer is provisioned.
fix Removing items from workspace roles now returns meaningful error responses when issues occur.
improvement The -isDefaultSelect flag is applied correctly across workspace APIs.
improvement APIs consistently return “remote execution failed” when WS is unavailable.
improvement Error reporting is standardized for unprovisioned workspaces.

It's a big one!

We've added a long requested feature of Direct Connection to Microsoft 365. This means that you can connect directly to Entra ID Tenants without the need for a Partner Center Relationship.

New Features

Dashboard Changes

We have added many new components to be added to the Dashboard. This involves giving the components the ability to call external APIs and show data to customers/resellers.

New UI Improvements

Atria - Release 15.26 Generally Available

Hello Atria Users!

We do apologise for the delay in getting this release out. We have exciting changes regardless!
The big changes in this release are...

improvement Reworked New UI - Please take a look and provide any feedback to our team. We have changed the layouts of most pages to make more sense, our Customer Success Team is going to be reaching out for another round of feedback, so please look out for an email or get in touch with our team to provide feedback.

This also means that some of our Grids within the system have changed - For example Workspace Items, or the Jobs page, now have a new Grid.

improvement .NET 8 Upgrade - We have migrated our core systems from .NET 6 to .NET 8 - Our installers will take care of this, but you should see performance improvements across the board for this change.

improvement Microsoft Online - New Backend API Runner - This is a complex change, but this now means that each request for a customer is sent within the same session. Previously, if you created a new user and then modified the license on the other, our code would do two separate connections to Entra ID. We are now passing multiple requests to the same connection, meaning that if you mass provision users, it will be noticeably quicker. This also means if you move between configuration pages (I.e. Shared Mailboxes to Resource Mailboxes) it will load 10x quicker.

Now - Onto General changes!

Installer Improvements

Atria Release 15.23 Generally Available

Hello Atria users!

We are excited to announce the release of Atria v15.23. In this new release, aside from the usual fixes and improvements we have focused on making Workspace easier for you to set up and use.

New Feature Import Workspace Items from Azure AD

Workspace makes access management easy for your customers, but getting Workspace setup for existing Azure AD groups hasn't been so easy. With this release you can now import any existing Azure AD group (Microsoft 365, Distribution Group or Security Group) into Workspace from right within the Azure AD group management page.  Not only does it create the Workspace Item, it will also auto-provision any users with group membership into Workspace.  So now you can manage membership of Microsoft Teams, Distribution groups, M365 groups - all through Workspace.

New Feature Workspace Analytics:

We've added a simple reporting feature which allows you and your customers drill into your Workspace data.  Find out who has access to what, or what your users have access to.   Workspace Analytics allows you to publish default reports, change columns and grouping and save the report configuration.  Want to do more analysis ?  A CSV data download is also provided.

improvement Jobs UI

We've added a few tweaks to the Jobs management UI to make it more usable, grid spacing has been fixed, an issue related to deleted user accounts has been resolved and issues related to the time zone used for run times has been cleaned up.

improvement Customer Hierarchy Performance Improvements

The Customer Hierarchy page was slow to load in situations where there were many thousands of Customers.  We have now improved the load process to load on demand and have removed the "Customers 1-X" grouping mechanism.  It's now faster to load and easier to use, even when 10,000+ Customers exist.

improvement Citrix service provisioning is very slow if large number of files exist for a customer.

The provisioning process has changed to only apply permission changes if they are required, this can make provisioning dramatically faster when large volumes of folders/files exist.

fix Microsoft Online Availabilities

A failure to get availabilities occurs when multiple Partner Center Connections are configured to different Microsoft Regions.  This has been resolved.

fix Platform Customer Delete

Under some circumstances an error occurs while deleting Customers with Workspace.  This has been resolved.

Whats Next

Our next Release (15.24) will be in approximately 4 weeks' time, alongside more fixes and improvements we are working on modernisation of core Customer and User management functions, this also includes a number of REST based API's.  If you are interested in previewing or want to provide us with your requirements - please ask support and we'll be keen to discuss.

Atria - Release 15.21 Generally Available

Hey There!

We've got a small release for this week - This introduces a new feature of 'Workspace Scoping' which enables you to scope lists to specific resellers, rather than being platform wide.

We've also got various enhancements throughout the platform.

New Features

New Feature Billing API - We've added a feature to be able to filter a location of the report. This means you can target a specific Environment to get data from, for example, a Remote Shared Environment.
New Feature Workspace Scoping - Added the ability on a Workspace List to selectively show which Resellers it will be present on, and if it should be inherited to children.

Fixes

fix Service Schema Import - We've fixed an issue when importing service schema's on a fresh installation
fix Customer Move API - We've made changes to the Customer Move API to correctly move User Plans throughout the hierarchy
fix Logging Changes - We've made a change to no longer error on escape characters
fix Workspace Items - We've made a change for Workspace to recalculate OUs correctly, meaning OUs are created in the correct location.
fix Microsoft Online - We've made various changes to authentication to improve reliability
fix Spotlight Search - We've fixed an issue where clicking certain hyperlinks would redirect you to the wrong page
fix Workflow - We've fixed an issue where Workflow would apply for the first provision regardless of Manager/Group Approvals being in place.
